Capital: cape Town (legislative); Pretoria (administrative) south Africa is industrially the most advanced country of Africa.

MINERAL

JOHANNESBURG

·         Situated to the south of Pretoria.

·         Famous for its gold mines.

      CAPE TOWN


·         Situated at the south – west corner of Africa.

·         Legislative capital of South Africa.

·         One of the leading ports and an important ‘port of call’ for ships moving from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean and vice-versa.

·         Due to Mediterranean climate it is an important region of wine making and fruit canning.
