PORTUGAL

·         Situation:  Portugal a rectangular country is situated in the south west corner of Iberian Peninsula. It consist of the western margin of the consists of the western margin of the Spanish me seta and an extensive coastal plain.

LISBON

·         An important port capital situated on the river Tagus.

·         It exports wine (‘Porto wine’) of the Douro basin of western Portugal and the raw wool.

OPORTO (PORTO)

·         The world famous ‘Porto wine’ takes its name from Oporto which lies on the north bank of the river Douro.

ANDORRA


            Area: 468 sq. km,

            Population: 64,700

           Capital: Andorra- la – vella

·         Situated between France and Spain in the valley of eastern Pyrenees.

·         An agricultural country and free port.
FRANCE

           Population: 58.9 million

           Longitude: 5˚ 55’ - 8˚ 10’ E

          Capital: Paris


          Situation: Spain INS situated between the three big nations, Germany, Spain and Italy. It is the largest country in Western Europe and the second largest country in Europe next only to Russia.
